The system disconnects at approximately 12.8V. The Battery Separator waits until the battery connected to the active charging source reaches approximately 13.2V before paralleling and charging the remaining batteries. When the batteries are not being charged, the Battery Separator separates or isolates the batteries. The Battery Separator allows multiple batteries to be charged from one charging source (usually, but not necessarily an alternator). Model 3103 works with any type of 24V negative ground charging system 300 amps or less. Absolutely no system modifications are necessary. Connects to primary battery, auxiliary battery and ground. Specifications: V Turn On 26.0 V Typical V Turn Off 24.3 V Typical Continuous Current 300 A Peak Maximum 2400 A for 1 second 900 A for 10 seconds Operating Temperature Control -40☌ to 74☌ Solenoid -40☌ to 74☌ Charge Priority Unidirectional Mode: Main to Auxiliary Bi-directional Mode: Bi-directional (either battery charging will activate unit) Optional Override Switch: Toggle state then defaults to normal operationĢ4V with Auxillary Start Battery Separator MODEL 3103 operates the same as the model 1315, except the 3103 is designed for 24V systems. VOLTAGE SPIKES generated by the coil of the solenoid are absorbed by protective circuitry built into the Battery Separator. UNIVERSALLY SUITED for mounting on tow vehicle or towable. This feature will only engage if the auxiliary battery has sufficient power available to assist in starting.
SURE POWER BATTERY ISOLATOR 13023A MANUAL
An optional input from the key switch or a manual switch will program the Battery Separator to parallel the batteries during starting. The system will then reset and re-attempt charging the auxiliary battery. If the current requirements are greater than the charging source can produce, the Battery Separator will automatically separate the batteries, thus directing all available charge current to the battery directly connected to the charging source.

24V with Auxillary Start Battery Separator MODEL 3103 operates the same as the model 1315, except the 3103 is designed for 24V systems.
